Musona scores in Al-Tai loss

Warriors skipper Knowledge Musona finally broke the duck at his new Saudi Arabian club Al-Tai FC in the 3-1 loss to Al-Fayha on Friday night.

Warriors skipper Knowledge Musona finally broke the duck at his new Saudi Arabian club Al-Tai FC in the 3-1 loss to Al-Fayha on Friday night. 

The Smiling Assassing scored his goal from 18-yard box in the 45th minute to cap a miserable night for Al-Tai in a Saudi Pro League match. 

Al-Fayha got their goals from Ramon Lopes in the 37th minute from the penalty, Ahmed Bamsaud 40th minute and Malek Al Abdulmonam late in the 85th minute.

It is a last match for Musona before the international break with the Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifiers coming up this September.

Zimbabwe will start camp on Saturday 29 August in preparation of the South Africa game on September 3 at the National Sports Stadium. 

The team will head to Ethiopia for the second game to be played on September 6 in Addis Ababa.
