ANTWERP – Warriors captain Knowledge Musona who returned from injury last week was back on the scoresheet with a brace in Belgium Pro Jupilier match.

Musona scored a brace as his Belgian club KAS Eupen came from behind twice to salvage a draw against visitors OH Leuven

The match ended at 3-3 and saw Eupen climb to 12th position on the log standings with 37 points after 30 games played.

Kristiyan Malinov opened the account with a 27th minute goal for Leuven before the hosts equalized through Jonathan Heris a minute later.

Thomas Henry put the visitors ahead again with a wonderful goal in the 36th minute of the game but Eupen won a penalty which Musona scored two minutes before the halftime.

The match went to halftime with the two teams level 2-2.

Leuven continued from were they had left before the break as Xavier Mercier put the ball at the back of the net ten minutes after the breather.

The hosts had Musona to thank in the 67th minute as the lethal player levelled the matters again.

Musona has now scored six league goals so far this season.

It is good news for Zimbabwe coach Zdravko Logarusic whose team plunges into battle for the last Afcon Qualifiers games later this month against Botswana and Zambia.

Zimbabwe has been hit by a crisis as many players have been ruled out for the ties with injury or technical issues such as covid-19 regulations in European countries.
