Ayanda Muponda, 23, who was on trial two weeks ago for trafficking and selling dildos to school children in Harare, was Monday released on bail by the High Court.
Muponda, represented by lawyer Zorodzai Dumbura, was granted $30,000 bail by Judge Esther Muremba, who also ordered her to report to the police twice a week.
Muponda, who trades her posts on social media, appeared in Mbare Magistrates’ Court for the first time on charges of breaching customs and excise law and exposing children to pornographic material.
She was not asked to comment on the accusations.
