LONDON — Harry Kane set a Premier League record for most goals with a single club when the Tottenham striker scored in Saturday’s game against Wolves at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Kane’s 185th Premier League goal for Tottenham put him ahead of Argentina striker Sergio Aguero’s 184 goals during his time at Manchester City.

It was also Kane’s 250th goal in all competitions for Tottenham, leaving him 16 goals behind Jimmy Greaves as he seeks to become the north London club’s all-time leading goalscorer.

The 29-year-old’s defining moment came in the 64th minute at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium when he came in from close range after an Ivan Perisic corner.

Kane scored his first goal of the season in last weekend’s 2-2 draw at Chelsea, when he headed in injury time to equal Agüero’s tally of 184.
