Zimbabwe national women’s cricket team has qualified for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier after beating Namibia by 13 runs in the Africa Qualifier final in Botswana on Sunday.
Zimbabwe were superb throughout the qualifiers winning all their seven matches.
The Lady Chevrons won the toss and elected to bat, posting 133/4 in their 20 overs. In response, Namibia only managed 120/9, falling short by 14 runs.
Chasing 135 to win Namibia were restricted to 120/9 in 20 overs.
