Loga has now presided over eleven matches with one victory and the rest being losses or draws.

In short, he is the luckiest coach to have taken care of the national team with many deluded fans defending his mediocre record at any given time.

The blame has either been directed towards poor ZIFA or the players while the Croat has remained the untouchable saviour.

Zimbabwe began the match better compared to their previous encounters in the tournament, the flow of the game from the back was relatively organised.

A number of chances were wasted by the two sides in the first half with Warriors captain Ovidy Karuru coming close in the 8th minute after connecting a Blessing Sarupinda corner kick.

Namibia had their chance ten minutes later through Absalom Limbondi but goalkeeper Washington Arubi was able to deal with it.

The second half began with Zimbabwe enjoying possession over the Brave Warriors but with no real threat in front of goal.

Sarupinda had to watch in agony as his free kick hit the top right in the 54th minute with Namibian goalkeeper a beaten man. It is the moment that provided change for the game as Namibia started to move forward in search of goal.

The efforts paid off in the 72nd minute when Zimbabwe defender Qadr Amin turned the ball into his net after a cross by Namibia.

A second one followed in the 93rd minute through the energetic Elmo Kambinda who had worked so hard for the moment all afternoon.

Zimbabwe gaffer Logarusic congratulated the Brave Warriors for the victory but defended his side’s poor show for lack of experience.
