BLANTYRE – Barely a day after releasing his latest album True Independence, musician Gwamba says he will use the album to raise funds for Pashello Charitable Trust in Chikwawa.

According to Gwamba through a message posted on his Facebook page, there will only be 50 CDs for sale and to those in Lilongwe or Blantyre, he will personally deliver a signed CD.

He also revealed that arrangements will be made to those in Mzuzu.

“You can buy it at any amount but the minimum buying price is K30,000,” Gwamba said.

He added that all the proceeds will be delivered to Pashello as soon as the 50 CDs are sold out.

Gwamba’s decision follows the visits he had over the past years to the Trust where Mrs Malola takes care of orphans and less privileged.

“The work that is being done there is amazing and that is why I have decided to involve the public and offer her more support,” he explained.
