HARARE – Zimbabwean gospel musician Mathias Mhere has completed the production process of his much-awaited 10th album titled “Thanks Giving”.
The 9-track album is set to be launched on September 20th and promises to uplift and inspire his fans.
“The album carries different messages, and I am sure you will all be uplifted spiritually. May the Lord bless you in everything you do,” said Mhere.
In an interview with RosGwen24, the multi-award winning Mhere disclosed that the album was inspired by his journey in the music industry and the need to thank God for his guidance.
“The album was inspired by the need to thank God; we have come a long way. It is our 10th album titled Thanks Giving, so we just want to thank our Lord for taking us from one level to where we are today.”
The album features some of Mhere’s popular songs such as “Mukadzi Akanaka”, “Nyasha Ndione”, “Zvakanaka Ndezvedu”, “Shanda Mudzimai”, “Nguva ndeya Mwari”, “Check Your Time”, “Makwikwi”, “Face yemhandu” among others.
He promised to release all the videos along with the album.

“I may release a video tomorrow or Wednesday to prepare for the official album launch. The most likely to be pre-released is either Check Your Time or Zvakanaka Ndezvedu, we will decide on that one,” added Mhere.
In one of the video projects, Mhere has roped in popular socialite Campion Matiyenga Jani, better known as Mwendaz We Drip, raising the anticipation level among his fans.
The award-winning musician hopes to quench the thirst of his followers by dropping one video from the album before the official launch. He urged his fans to stay tuned for more details.
