MDC Alliance Activist Haruzivishe Granted Bail

HARARE – MDC Alliance activist Makomborero Haruzivishe has been granted a $10 000 bail by a High Court judge ending his 3 months detention. 

The release follows an intervention by Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights which challenged the illegal detention of Haruzivishe by the state. 

Haruzivishe was sentenced to 14 months in prison in April this year after being found guilty for inciting violence.
