MDC-T Member Pushes for Mwonzora’s Ouster ahead of EOC

HARARE – MDC-T member Leonard Chisvo has called for the ouster of secretary general Douglas Mwonzora over recent revelations of stolen party funds by the latter and members aligned to him.

Chisvo who was speaking at a press conference in the capital on Friday said Mwonzora had become a nuisance in the party and the principles it stands for by wilfully violating rules to aid his presidential ambitions ahead of the MDC-T congress on December 28th.

Mwonzora is also being accused of deploying violent youths at the party’s Harvest House headquarters as a way of trying to have full control of every structure while neutralizing other members who have ambitions to lead the party.
