Zimbabwe international Marshall Munetsi scored his fifth goal of the season on Saturday night as Stade de Reims secured a 2-1 win over St Etienne in a Ligue 1 game.
Munetsi opened the scoring in the second minute before Eliaquim Mangala equalized for St Etienne ten minutes later.
Kamora Doumbia scored the winning goal in the 61st minute as Reims claimed victory in the penultimate game of the season.
Reims are 12th having amassed 46 points after 37 games with only a game remaining before the curtain comes down for the French League One 2021/22 season.
St-Etienne further plunged into relegation zone occupying the last slot for automatic elimination but still have a chance to go for play-offs if they win their last game and Meltz loses.
