WUHAN – Zhejiang FC beat Wuhan Yangtze River 3-0 to continue their fine form in the Chinese Super League (CSL) with forward Nyasha Mushekwi on the score sheet again.
The match played at Wuhan Five Rings Sports Center saw Zhejiang dominate play from the word go but could not find the back of the net in the first hall.
After a series of attacks, the visitors found the breakthrough courtesy of Brazilian midfielder Matheus Leite Nascimento in the 51st minute.
Croatian midfielder Franko Andrijašević was next to register a goal sixteen minutes latter as Zhejiang went 2-0 up.
The hosts had a goal disallowed by VAR in the 77th minute for an offside.
Wuhan Yangtze hopes were then shattered with three minutes to end the game when in-form striker Nyasha Mushekwi scored the third goal.
Mushekwi also scored in the last game against log leaders Wuhan Three Towns as his side clinched a 2-1 win.
The latest win leaves Zhejiang on 5th position with 35 points, two behind fourth placed Shanghai Port FC.
