Musona set for Platinum return, Jesi close to Ngezi switch

Zimbabwe internationals Walter Musona and Last Jesi are angling for a return to the domestic premier league with FC Platinum and Ngezi Platinum Stars respectively.

HARARE – Zimbabwe internationals Walter Musona and Last Jesi are angling for a return to the domestic premier league with FC Platinum and Ngezi Platinum Stars respectively.

Musona was in the stands at Mandava stadium on Saturday watching his former side FC Platinum draw 1-1 against Triangle with sources at the club saying coach Norman Mapeza is interested in him. 

Musona was offloaded by Sekhukhune United at the start of the South African premier league along with compatriot McClive Phiri who has settled at Venda Football Academy in the GladAfrica Championship. 

Jesi who was offloaded by Sudanese giants Al Hilal some months ago, has been training with Ngezi Platinum

Jesi had a trial stint with Tanzania side Azam FC but nothing came up but looks set to sign for Ngezi Platinum Stars as he has been impressive at training.
