HARARE – Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation journalist Musorowegomo Mukosi has approached the High Court seeking an order to evict four allegedly illegal miners he accuses of invading his mine for purposes of extracting gold.
In his urgent chamber application, filed on Monday this week, Mukosi urged the court to urgently intervene in the matter saying the miners were now fast depleting the precious mineral in his claims.
Mukosi said he is a registered holder of exclusive mining rights in mining claims situated in the Mukaradzi area of Mt Darwin known as Chin X and Chin Y which area has now been invaded by the illegal miners.
