HARARE — The marathon technical and development committee meeting with the Zdravko Logarusic fronted Warriors bench on Saturday recommended a total change ahead of the next assignment, The Page can confirm.
The Bryton Malandule chaired technical and development committee held a meeting in which each one of the technical members faced the music alone – (one by one) had a fruitful and very considered meeting.
All the submissions by Loga, his assistants and general manager Wellington Mupandare, took turns to explain themselves before a full committee of Malandule, Andrew Tapela, Wisdom Simba, Stan Nyachowe, Nelson Matongorere and the corrupt Wilson Mutekede.
So effective was the modus operandi of the meeting that the committee was able to assess each of the members independently.
The committee had previously received a written report prepared and submitted by Tonderai Ndiraya.
After the meeting fully considered all submissions by coaches and managers, the committee unanimously agreed that they have failed and will not improve our chances of qualification for the World Cup and better performance at the next AFCON in Cameroon.
The ball is now effectively in the court of the embattled Zifa executive committee who according to the constitution are charged with hiring or firing of the coach.
The technical committee are not clothed with powers to fire, but can only recommend as they did.
The court of public opinion has ruled that Loga has failed and should be relieved of his duties as soon as the last competition.
Even the captured members of the Zifa Congress are of the same opinion. Media has also agreed that Loga has failed the nation and should go. Will the Zifa executive committee rule otherwise?
Even the fighting cartels like Team Zimbabwe and Zimbabwe Foreign Legion agree on Loga having failed.
So, who is in Loga’s court now? Could it be the super cartel leader Nyambuya? Waiting…………..
