Pride of Africa Asia Pacific Awards roars to life tonight

The wait for the 9th edition of Pride of Africa Asia Pacific Awards is set to be over when organizers Appreciate Africa Network (AAN) host the ceremony on 29th July 2022 in Guangzhou.

GUANGZHOU – The wait for the 9th edition of Pride of Africa Asia Pacific Awards is set to be over when organizers Appreciate Africa Network (AAN) host the ceremony on 29th July 2022 in Guangzhou.

Initially, the ceremony was slated for 27-29 July in the sparkling city of Sanya before COVID-19 regulations hampered the plan.

In fact, the awards have been limited to online flair for the past two years due to COVID-19 pandemic which affected normal life around the world.

Despite the setback, all is ready for the grand award ceremony with pomp and fun fare on tonight at the Soluxe Hotel Guangzhou.

AAN founder Samantha Sibanda put in the hard work to ensure the awards which started in 2014 go through smoothly.

The awards gala will start at 6:30pm till late with lots of entertainment from Lance, Collins, Kay, Maxwell, Kanaala and Mr Fantastic (DJ) set to keep the attendees on hook.

The awards ceremony will be graced by dignitaries from various countries such as Tanzania, Cote D’Ivoire Zimbabwe, Botswana, Cameroon, Nigeria among others.

Pride of Africa Asia Awards appreciate African talents in China and across Asia in cinema, fashion, humanitarian, enterprise, sports and music among others clusters.

Some of the sponsors of the awards include Chateau He Lan Yu, DeSlim Import & Export Group, and GanoHerb Ganoderma.
