The government of Zambia has warned former President Edgar Lungu for his recent statement regarding potential unrest that could lead to the ousting of President Hakainde Hichilema before 2026.

President Hakainde Hichilema this week appointed Cabinet Ministers in accordance with articles 116(1), 117 of the Zambia constitution which empowers the President to appoint Cabinet and Provincial Ministers.

The controversial Bill 10 was thrown into political dustbin on Thursday after an intriguing final debate, voting and rejection moment.
