BIRMINGHAM – Valencia have reportedly turned their attention to Aston Villa midfielder Marvelous Nakamba whose future in England has remained a subject of speculation.
Nakamba has long been linked with a move to Galatasaray of Turkey, but now appears to have caught the eye of Spanish side Valencia, according to reports from Spain.
The industrious Zimbabwe international has seen limited game time at Villa this season since Brazilian midfielder Douglas Luiz settled into the team and picked form.
Aston Villa have fuelled talk of Nakamba moving away after they completed the signing of midfielder Morgan Sanson from Marseille on a four-and-a-half-year deal on Tuesday.
The central midfielder who was once the only player from Southern Africa in the English Premiership before Brighton and Hove recalled South Africa international Percy Tau from a loan spell, joined Villa in August of 2019.
He made 19 Premier League appearances for Villa last term and only two this season.
