HARARE – All but two of the Warriors contingent arrived in Cape Coast at 1500HRS on Wednesday ahead of Saturday’s Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifier against Ghana, in the first of the back to back matches.
Only US based defender Teenage Hadebe and England based Brendan Galloway were not unavailable after missing flights but are expected in tomorrow as preparations for the crucial tie start in earnest.
Not so new Warriors coach Norman Mapeza and his troops are expected to take on Ghana who are also reeling from missing some of their key players and have a new coach, albeit not so new either.
The absence of the Hadebe and Galloway is just a simple blot on an otherwise well planned trip to engage the former Afcon champions.
The return match is on Tuesday at the National Sports Stadium.
