Warriors final squad for Botswana, Zambia ties confirmed

Warriors coach Zdravko Logarusic has announced the final 23 players to represent Zimbabwe against neighbors Botswana and Zambia in the final 2021 AFCON qualifiers on 25 and 29 March respectively.

HARARE – Warriors coach Zdravko Logarusic has announced the final 23 players to represent Zimbabwe against neighbours Botswana and Zambia in the final 2021 AFCON qualifiers on 25 and 29 March respectively.

There was positive developments in the preparations for the two games as ZIFA confirmed that the French Football Federation agreed with the French government that the duo of Tino Kadewere and Marshall Munetsi will be exempted from quarantine when they return to their clubs. 

“The two will use a private flight to return to France. The Association is engaging with its partners to ensure that the condition is met so that Zimbabwe can assemble the strongest possible team for the important matches,” reads a statement released by ZIFA online. 

Warriors based in Zambia are already in camp, together with the SuperSport duo of Evans Rusike and Kuda Mahachi.

Inform talisman captain Knowledge Musona has arrived today from his base in Belgium while more players are expected to arrive today and tomorrow.
