MAPUTO – Jaison Muvhevhi, a Zimbabwe murder culprit, has reportedly been arrested in Mozambique after killing three people with a gun in Wedza recently before playing hide-and-seek with the police.
He was apprehended in neighbouring Mozambique, according to Zimbabwe’s Information Permanent Secretary Nick Mangwana.
According to reports, Muvhevhi ran out of luck when he tried to kidnap a biker in Mozambique at gunpoint.
“Muvhevhi arrested he was arrested this morning after he had hijacked a biker at gunpoint in Manica. He had already crossed into Mozambique and intended to go further. Logistics are currently underway to bring him back. A security team is already in Mozambique.”

Muvhevhi fatally shot Inspector Maxwell Hove, the officer in charge of the Wedza police station, and a male bartender on Friday in the late afternoon. He also killed a prophet of the apostolic sect.
