HARARE – For the upcoming CHAN qualifiers, Zimbabwe has selected a developmental squad primarily composed of U23 and U20 players, along with just four senior players.
Zimbabwe host Eswatini at Obed Chilume Itani Stadium in Francistown, Botswana on Sunday with the return leg at Mbombela Stadium in South Africa on 2nd November 2024.
The team will be coached by Takesure Chiragwi and their training camp is set to begin in Harare on Tuesday 22 October, 2024.
CAPS United duo of Godknows Murwira and Junior Bunjira headline the squad missing Dynamos players due to local league commitments as the club plays catch up after participating in CAF games recently.
Murwira who has been in a middle of a storm recently due to ‘absenteeism’ from CAPS United to attend the national team camp will captain the Warriors.
