CALIFORNIA – Apple Inc and Amazon Inc is expected to restart advertising on Twitter, according to a number of media reports on Saturday.
The revelations come as Twitter on Thursday issued emails to advertising agencies providing incentives for advertisers to spend more money on the site in an effort to revive its business after Elon Musk‘s acquisition caused many businesses to pull back.
According to a Platformer News reporter’s tweet on Saturday, Amazon intends to restart its $100 million annual Twitter advertising campaign, subject to some security adjustments to the company’s ad platform.
The offer was described in the email as the “largest advertisement incentive ever on Twitter” by the popular platform.
According to the email, US advertisers that commit to incremental spending of $500,000 will be entitled to a “100% value add” match on their investment, up to a maximum of $1 million.
Reliable reports indicate that Apple, who is Twitter’s biggest advertiser, has “completely resumed” using the social media site for advertising.
