MAZOWE – Multitudes of domestic tourists flocked to the newly constructed Baradzanwa Cultural Village in Mazowe yesterday to usher in the New Year, positioning the destination as a vibrant new addition to Zimbabwe’s Tourism landscape.
Set in serene surroundings, the facility attracted Tourists eager to experience a unique one-stop destination offering Accommodation, Conferences, Weddings, Educational Tours, Cultural celebrations, Entertainment and Relaxation.
The celebrations were ignited by electrifying performances, headlined by Jah Prayzah, whose powerful set had the crowd singing and dancing in unison.
The festive atmosphere was further elevated by captivating performances from Tamy Moyo and Feli Nandi, adding depth, glamour and excitement to the day’s celebrations.

Baradzanwa Cultural Village set to be tourism hub
Complementing the entertainment was a rich Gastronomic experience, with guests indulging in mouthwatering Zimbabwean dishes, sizzling braai and refreshing beverages, offering an authentic taste of the country’s diverse food heritage.
Adding prestige to the occasion was the presence of the Patron of Tourism and Hospitality Industry, Her Excellency The First Lady of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Auxillia Mnangagwa, who also joined the celebrations.
Tourism and Hospitality Industry minister, Barbara Rwodzi, expressed satisfaction with the growing Tourist inflows in the country and hopes the new cultural village will further put the country on map.
The New Year festivities firmly positioned Baradzanwa Cultural Village as a must-visit Tourism destination, showcasing its potential to deliver immersive cultural experiences, unforgettable moments and strengthened Zimbabwe’s growing Tourism offering.
