Bulawayo Chiefs Settles For Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Assistant

Bulawayo Chiefs have settled for Manchester United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's former assistant at Cardiff City, Nilton Terroso as their head coach.

Bulawayo Chiefs have settled for Manchester United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s former assistant at Cardiff City, Nilton Terroso as their head coach. 

Chiefs who are on a transformation to become one of the best clubs in Zimbabwe, recently parted ways with head coach Thulani Sibanda, brought in former Highlanders and Caps United coach Mark Mathe and Farai Tawechera as assistants as they sought for a European coach. 

Born in France but grew up in Canada and Portugal where he represented both countries at youth age group  level, the 42 year old Terroso also coached Atlético Clube de Portugal and Olhanense after leaving Cardiff City. 

He prides himself as a football coach with qualifications in training methodologies and Sports Science from Portugal with daily experience utilising various performance softwares such as heart rates and GPS system. 

Terroso who played for S.C. Lourinhanense a feeder club to Sporting Lisbon is expected to arrive in Zimbabwe on Tuesday. 

He is expected to be on the bench for Bulawayo Chiefs in their next match against Chicken Inn in the Chibuku Super Cup.
