HARARE – Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) spokesperson Fadzai Mahere announced on Thursday that another party official Edison Chinembiri had been murdered in Zengeza.
“We are receiving disturbing reports that Champion Edison Chinembiri of Zengeza Main Branch was murdered by thugs on Tuesday night.
“We extend our sincere condolences to the Chinembiri family and call on the Zimbabwe Republic Police to investigate the matter thoroughly. Peace must prevail,” she said.
The death of Chinembiri comes days after the murder of party activist Moreblessing Ali in Nyatsime by suspected Zanu PF members.
