BULAWAYO – Famous Zimbabwean comedian Clive Chigubu, 31, has died of defusing large B-cell lymphoma, an incurable type of cancer.
In a recent interview, Chigubu revealed that he did not receive treatment due to the slow process in the system and also financial constraints.
Clive is one of the many victims who have lost their lives to cancer due to the lack of proper equipment in the country.
It is reported that the country has only one machine which was working in the Parirenyatwa cluster of hospitals and has since been out of service.
Recently, prominent journalist Hopewell Chin’ono exposed the rotten state of local health system which has been deprived of essential materials due to misappropriation of funds by the Emmerson Mnangagwa government.
Chin’ono has become a prey of the Mnangagwa regime which is running helter–skelter to silence the corruption fighter.
Parirenyatwa spokesman Lenos Dhire confirmed in a statement that concerted efforts are being made to secure the necessary spare parts and foreign engineers are being called in urgently to remedy the problems.
Clive is survived by 1 daughter.
