JOHANNESBURG — Zimbabwean players Talent Chawapiwa and Blessing Sarupinda are among the six players that have been released by South African DStv premiership club Sekhukhune United.
Sekhukhune United on Wednesday confirmed the departure of Chawapiwa and Sarupinda along with other four South African players Thabo Rakhale, Jabu Maluleke, Sibusiso Hlubi, Ryan De Jongh and Tumelo Matoma who has be loaned out first division side Jomo Cosmos.
Blessing has since joined first division side JDR Stars and will team up with fellow Zimbabweans Ishmael Wadi, Temptation Chiwunga and Tapiwa Mandinyenya.
Sekhukhune United which had earned the moniker ‘Zimbabwe United’ remains with three other Zimbabweans on their books Tapuwa Kapini, Willard Katsande and Charlton Mashumba.
