Imprisoned Zimdancehall artiste Chigudo Chihomuhomu brought festive cheer to his fellow inmates on Christmas Day, leading them in song despite being behind bars.

HARARE – Imprisoned Zimdancehall artiste Chigudo Chihomuhomu, real name, Joseph Mutamba brought festive cheer to his fellow inmates on Christmas Day, leading them in song despite being behind bars.

Mutamba, who is serving a 14-year prison sentence for rape, has refused to let his incarceration silence his musical voice.

Instead, he continues to create and perform, using his talent to uplift and entertain his fellow prisoners.

On Christmas Day, Mutamba took to the makeshift stage in the prison yard, joining forces with fellow inmates to deliver an energetic performance of Zimdancehall hits to a captivated audience of inmates.

Chigudo Chihomuhomu who is dubbed a Soul Jah Love incarnate due to his rich lyrical flow is known for songs like Gogogoi, Waiziva Ndiyani, Ndipinde among others.
