NEW YORK – American songbird Taylor Swift was officially named a member of the three-comma club on Tuesday, as Forbes validated speculations that her fortune exceeded $1 billion.
According to the financial news outlet, she is the first musician to become a billionaire entirely through her music, with an estimated net worth of $1.1 billion.
Other industry heavyweights who have achieved success, such as Rihanna and Jay-Z, have made their fortunes in part through fashion labels, alcohol corporations, or entertainment stakes, among other interests.
Taylor Swift aged 34 also owns a large real estate portfolio, including houses in New York, Beverly Hills, Nashville, and a beachfront property in Rhode Island.

Swift’s dating life fueled the hysteria in 2023, when the pop culture icon began a very public romantic affair with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
This season, Chiefs games featuring Swift in a private box broke a number of ratings records.
It was yet another example of her tremendous influence: with hundreds of millions of social media followers and a devoted fan following, she can shift any dial with the smallest of movements.
