HARARE – CAPS United have signed former Warriors defender Jimmy Dzingai on a season long contract as they seek to solidify their squad to fight for honours this year.
Dzingai has been training with CAPS United for the past weeks and coach Lloyd Chitembwe on Thursday said the former Yadah and Dynamos defender brings in a lot of experience that he is looking for to fight for the league title.
“I think he is the right guy to help us deliver our aspirations. We want to have a very big team that can deliver what we want to achieve this season and he is one guy who can help us make it,” Chitembwe said.
Dzingai who has been without a club since leaving Nkana FC in Zambia last year, becomes the third experienced defender to join CAPS United during this transfer window following the signing of Dennis Dauda and Marshal Machazane.
CAPS United also brought in former Harare City duo of William Manondo and Tatenda Tavengwa as well as Devon Chafa, Evidence Tendayi and Rodwell Chinyengetere last month.
