PRETORIA – Defending champions, Zambia, continued their dismal show at the COSAFA Cup 2021 edition with another loss in two games.

Chipolopolo were humbled by minnows Eswatini (Swaziland) in a highly entertaining match played in Port Elizabeth, South Africa on Saturday afternoon.

A classical second half strike by Gamedze Sandile in the 58th minute was enough for Eswatini to collect full set of points, leaving their opponents on the verge of elimination.

Zambia had a better game in almost all points but their finishing let them down again with Brian Mwila the culprit.

Moses Phiri had his effort over the bar after he was put through by Augustine Mulenga in the 15th minute of the game.

Mwila was the next to miss a tap in after an excellent service from Roderick Kabwe with eight minutes before half time.

The second half saw Eswatini breaking the deadlock through Sandile to condemn the Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic coached side to another defeat.

Chipolopolo lost their first match 2-1 to another minnow in Lesotho.
