FC Platinum enjoy three-piecer Chicken Inn meal

In the much anticipated Castle Lager Premier League top of the log battle, FC Platinum edged Chicken Inn with a convincing 3-0 to rearrange the log table.

It is clear by now that the champions can bank on any one to add to the scores tally.

Last week against Tenax, back of the field players Mhlanga and Moyo secured the victory with their goals.

This week, Musona’s brace at 3’ and 29’ was complemented by another surprise splendid strike by defender Chinyerere at 40’ to seal the victory.

It is this oiled performance that is particularly interesting from the champions. Goals are coming from literally anywhere and anyone on the field.

The pure platinum fans braved the chilly temperatures at Luveve only to be rewarded early in the third minute.

This visibly heated up the Platinum atmosphere, hyping the supporters into terrace shacking singing throughout the rest of the match.

Despite the efforts by Joey Antipas to make five substitutions to save the day at home and maintain the top position, Mapeza’s charges were simply too good for the home team.

They out-played the home team from singing, defending and the clinical finishes. It was purely a Platinum day by all logical means.

Zendera made some great saves to keep Chicken Inn from a greater fall.

Meanwhile, shot-stopper Magalane, goalkeepers coach Tembo Chuma and the defence remain resolute at the back earning a 6th consecutive clean sheet.

FC Platinum continues to run its own race focusing on primarily perfecting football and everything else is coming as byproduct.
