BLANTYRE – As part of supporting arts in the country, Goshen City Entertainment Center has supported Piksy and Gwamba latest albums with K5,000,000 and K15,000,000 respectively.
According to Goshen City’s deputy Chief Executive Officer, Willie Kalonga, the gesture is a potent breakpoint statement to artists globally that they have a partner in Goshen City.
“Artists deserve to be appreciated and supported as we consider arts and culture as one of the most important components in tourism as they educate, inform, and entertain us with their music,” Kalonga said.

Speaking after receiving the donation, Piksy said the art industry needs this kind of support as he thanked Goshen City for the gesture.
On his part, Gwamba said for a show to be of great standard, a lot of money is needed hence need for local companies to support Malawian artists.
“My fellow artists can agree on the challenges that we go through to get funding or corporate partnerships,” Gwamba said.
He then said he know a lot more artists and celebrities will benefit from Goshen City.
Gwamba is expected to have his album concert show in Blantyre later this month while Piksy will launch his Mtunda album in Mzuzu after successful launches in Blantyre and Lilongwe.
