Harare City have progressed into the quarter finals of the Chibuku Super Cup after a goalless draw against Dynamos at Baobab stadium.

Harare City’s cause was helped by ZPC Kariba‘s collapse against Caps United losing 2-1 at the National Sports stadium.

ZPC Kariba took the lead in the first half through Moses Demera before Joseph Thulani equalised.

New signing Clive Augusto got the winner in the second half with a header from a corner kick.

The victory means nothing for the Green Machine who missed out on a quarterfinal spot after an inconsistent outing in the group stages of the tournament.

CAPS United coach was elated by the positive result and hopes to carry the same momentum to the league which is set to return soon.
