HARARE – Former Warriors midfielder, Khama Billiat, has found a new club, joining Premier Soccer League (PSL) side Yadah FC in a move that marks a fresh start for the talented player.

Yadah, an ambitious club based in Harare, is set to officially unveil Billiat during an event scheduled for Thursday in the capital city.

The 33-year-old midfielder’s arrival in the country on Tuesday evening signals the beginning of a new chapter in his football career as he joins the ranks of the Miracle Boys.

Despite interest from several other clubs, including Dynamos, Ngezi Platinum, Manica Diamonds, and CAPS United, Billiat opted for Yadah after being impressed by the club’s offer.

His decision to join Yadah comes after being without a club for eight months following his departure from South African giants Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs.

Yadah’s chairperson, Everson Chatambudza, confirmed the acquisition of Billiat in a telephone interview, expressing excitement about the prospect of having the seasoned midfielder in their squad.

Chatambudza revealed that Billiat’s unveiling ceremony will take place on Thursday in Harare, marking the official commencement of his journey with the club.

Billiat’s return to Zimbabwean football comes after a successful stint abroad, which saw him play for clubs like Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs in South Africa.

His previous experience with Harare giants CAPS United under head coach Lloyd Chitembwe in 2010 laid the foundation for his career before he ventured into the South African football scene.

As Billiat embarks on this new chapter with Yadah FC, fans and stakeholders eagerly anticipate his contributions to the team’s success in the Premier Soccer League.

His wealth of experience and skill on the field are expected to bolster Yadah’s midfield and add depth to their squad as they aim to make a mark in Zimbabwean football.
