HARARE – Dynamos could lose 2022 Soccer Star of the Year finalist Frank Makarati who is on demand both locally and outside the country with newly promoted Simba Bhora ready to spend big on the player.
Makarati whose contract with Dynamos expires at the end of December is being sought by Chicken Inn, Simba Bhora, Zambian Super League side Green Buffaloes and Singida FC of Tanzania.
Chicken Inn are looking at solidifying their central defence which has the ageing duo of Moses Jackson and Guide Goddard.
Newly promoted Simba Bhora who are reportedly set to offer Tonderai Ndiraya a contract in January when his contract with Dynamos expires at the end of December are also said to be interested in Makarati who also played under Ndiraya before at Ngezi Platinum Stars but the player is believed to be angling for a move outside the country.
“We are still weighing offers, we are in talks with Dynamos but everything depends on how negotiations turns out. Chicken Inn, Simba Bhora are also interested in Frank Makarati as well as two clubs from outside the country, Green Buffaloes of Zambia and Singida of Tanzania,” said his agent Trust Nyambiya of TKT Sports Agency.
