DALIAN – Nyasha Mushekwi scored the fasted goal in Chinese Super League (CSL) as Zhejiang Greentown settled for a draw against Shanghai Port in a match played at Dalian Sports Center on Saturday.
Mushekwi opened the account for the visitors 30 seconds in the game after a solo run from the centre before finding space between defenders to unleash a shot which goalkeeper Yan Junling failed to save.
Shanghai Port immediately responded through Zhang Huachen after being setup by Brazilian midfielder Paulinho but his effort went wide.
The hosts made amends in the 15th minute Wenjun Lu made a fine run from the left side inside the box before curling a low show for a goal.
Shanghai Port almost scored a second eight minute later after benefiting from a defensive error by Greentown but Cherif Ndiaye wasted the effort.
Since then action swung from end to the other but with no goals.
The second half was rather quiet as both teams defended deeply restricting flow of play. The match ended 1-all.
