HARARE – Zimbabwe premier league 2024 Soccer Star of the year Walter Musona has bid farewell to champions Simba Bhora a month after guiding them to the trophy.
Musona is expected to sign for newly promoted Scottland FC next season though a move overseas to the Betway Premiership (South Africa) is still on cards with Golden Arrows reportedly showing interest.
As news about his next move continue to do rounds, Musona made sure that he leaves the Shamva based side on good terms, singling out the previous season as the best of his career.
“I’d like to thank the Simba Bhora FC family for taking my career to another level last season. Captaining the team to its maiden championship is now the biggest highlight of my career, and I’m also grateful for the club’s role in helping me become a two-time Soccer Star of the Year,” he said.

Musona also thanked team owner, Simba Ndoro, fans, teammates, the technical team, and Simba Bhora sponsors Panjap owned by Brighton Ushendibaba.
“As I open the next page of my career, Simba Bhora will always be in my heart. We achieved a lot in a short period and I wish you all the best in 2025,” he added.
