Al-Tai captain Knowledge Musona played a key role as his club defeated log anchors Al-Hazemin 3-0 in the Saudi Pro League on Monday.
Musona scored in the 76th minute to double the lead after Tobias Figueroa’s opener in the first half.
The second-half performance helped Musona make up for his missed first-half penalty.
The former Zimbabwe international failed to convert the penalty as his shot was blocked by the goalkeeper.
Musona went on to assist Mukhtar Ali’s third goal in the 87th minute of the game to ensure Al-Ta’ee finishes at a commendable sixth place in their maiden season.
Al Hazemin on the other side were relegated with Al-Ahli Saudi and Al-Faisaly following a dismal campaign.
