KAROI – Sarah Mahoka, former MP for Zanu PF Hurungwe East, has died.
Mahoka, who was also a former women’s league national treasurer, died in a traffic accident on Thursday evening.
Mahoka was driving towards the Karoi when a Harare-bound transport truck allegedly swerved into its lane, resulting in a head-on collision.
The accident happened at Buffalo Downs, less than 3 km from their farm.
Although the police have not yet released a statement, they confirmed that such a fatal accident occurred and also provided details of the circumstances without naming the victims.
Sources at the scene of the fatal crash have confirmed that Sarah Mahoka was one of the crash victims.
