Tsenengamu exposes Zanu PF toxic corruption

Godfrey Tsenengamu who was expelled as Zanu PF youth league commissar for exposing corrupt elements in Zimbabwe has made further allegations that controversial businessman Billy Rautenbach pays salaries for Zanu PF politicians and staff.

HARARE – Godfrey Tsenengamu, the former Zanu PF youth league commissar who was expelled from the party for exposing corruption, has made new allegations against controversial businessman Billy Rautenbach.

According to Tsenengamu, Rautenbach is responsible for paying salaries to politicians and staff members of the ruling party.

Speaking at a press briefing in Harare last week, Tsenengamu explained that his expulsion from Zanu PF was a result of his efforts to expose a corrupt ethanol monopoly enjoyed by Rautenbach.

He also questioned the rationale behind mandatory blending, stating that it was supposed to make fuel cheaper, but instead resulted in higher fuel prices.

“Why mandatory blending when we were told that if they mix with ethanol, it is was going to be cheaper, but the ethanol has pushed the prices of fuel up,” he said.

Tsenengamu has been a vocal critic of corruption within Zimbabwe’s ruling party, and his latest allegations are likely to further strain relations between the party and Rautenbach.

The controversial businessman has long been a controversial figure in Zimbabwe, with accusations of corruption and illegal activities dogging his career.

The allegations made by Tsenengamu are yet to be independently verified, but they are likely to attract significant attention in Zimbabwe’s political circles.

Corruption remains a major problem in the country, and any claims of wrongdoing by powerful figures are likely to be met with scrutiny.

Meanwhile, Tsenengamu has called for a thorough investigation into Rautenbach’s activities, stating that Zimbabweans deserve to know the truth.

It remains to be seen whether his latest allegations will lead to any action being taken against Rautenbach or other individuals implicated in corruption.
