HARARE – ZIFA board member Barbara Chikosi is up against the wall in her new role as Referees Committee Chairperson to replace Briton Malandule whose mandate was revoked on 23 April.
Curiously, since becoming Zimbabwe Women’s Football Super League boss in 2018, Chikosi has failed to rebrand the Women’s Football Super League which is currently running without a sponsor while player welfare remains desperate.

It remains to be seen how she will deal with the referee’s portfolio given violence and hooliganism rocking high-profile PSL matches.
The PSL in April raised alarm over numerous complaints on the performance of match officials and asked the ZIFA referees committee “to seriously look into the matter.”
