Mthuli Ncube: Zimbabwe economy to shrink by 4.5 percent

Zimbabwe's Finance minister Mthuli Ncube on Thursday projected that the country's economy will shrink by 4.5 percent in 2020 from 3 percent earlier projected due to the negative impact of COVID-19.

HARARE – Zimbabwe’s under-fire Finance and Economic Development minister Mthuli Ncube on Thursday projected that the country’s economy will shrink by 4.5 percent in 2020 from 3 percent earlier projected due to the negative impact of COVID-19.

He made the remarks during a Mid-Term Fiscal Policy review presentation in parliament.
