HARARE – Castle Lager Premier League side CAPS United completed their transfer business on transfer deadline by signing highly rated 31-years-old midfielder Joel Ngodzo from rivals Highlanders.
Makepekepe finalised the deal with Josta after the player was offloaded by Bosso coach Baltemar Brito on grounds of becoming excess to requirements though some reports point to a fallout at training.
Ngodzo reunites with Green Machine gaffer Lloyd Chitembwe after leaving the club a few years ago to ply his trade in the Zambian Super League before signing for boyhood club Highlanders.
CAPS United seem to have a complete midfield after they also signed former Chicken Inn midfielder Tichaona Chipunza, who made a cameo role in the 2-1 victory over WhaWha on Saturday.
Chitembwe also managed to lure former midfielder Blessing Sarupinda after he terminated his contract with South African side Sekhukhune United.
