HARARE – Dynamos gave a strong reminder of their title aspirations with a stunning performance against Sheasham at the National Sports Stadium on Sunday in which they won 4-0.
The Herbert Maruwa-coached team completely dominated the match, producing one of the biggest victories of the season so far.
The Glamour Boys showed their strength from the very beginning, with Sheasham defender Zivanai Chikwenhere gifting them two goals in the first half.
DeMbare captain Frank Makarati converted a penalty in the 34th minute after a foul inside the box. Emmanuel Paga sealed the deal with a goal in the 84th minute, securing a 4-0 win for Dynamos.
Reflecting on the team’s performance, Maruwa said, “We knew we had to come out strong and impose ourselves on the game from the first whistle, and the boys did just that. I’m very proud of them.”
He added, “It’s still early days, but this result puts us in a good position going forward. We need to stay focused and keep working hard.”
Dynamos now sit at the top of the league table with six points from two matches, edging out champions FC Platinum on goal difference.

The team’s fans are understandably excited about the team’s early success, with many taking to social media to express their optimism.
One fan, Tendai Mapfumo, said, “What a performance from the boys! This is the kind of form we need to maintain if we want to win the league. Up Dynamos!”
Another fan, Mary Chikwava, added, “I’m thrilled with the result. It’s still early in the season, but this gives us a lot of hope for the future.”
Dynamos will be looking to continue their winning streak when they face off against Simba Bhora in their next match. With the team firing on all cylinders, they will be a tough opponent for any team in the league.
