Minister Kambamura sets CIO operatives to silence lover

The man who is occupying the late Edward Chindori Chininga’s job, Deputy Mines Minister Polite Kambamura, has been fingered in a plot to eliminate his girlfriend.

The Minister has been accused of hiring intelligence assailants against his girlfriend, Thandeka Chitombo.

According to Thandeka better known as Ndekah Stones in the Jazz circles, Kambamura set intelligence personnel in an attempt to silence her before the plan went up in smoke.

“Our disagreement began on the 9th May before he had flown out, “ she said.

“On the 10th, his manager named, Mr Katsande looked for me around 8 in the evening claiming he was sent by his boss Kambamura, wanting me to pay deposit money that I had not paid upon entering the flat with a threat that if I do not pay, I am supposed to get out of the flat within 7 days.

“That is when I asked him if he was sure of what he was saying. He then showed me messages they had been exchanging with Kambamura,” said the Ndinecha hit maker.

“I then knocked sense in him how I had been with his boss in Vic Falls. I showed him pictures and that is when he got shocked (that there is a relationship between me and his boss). That is when he (Katsande) realised that he was being used as a front to abuse me. I showed him a message sent to me at 8pm, and said are these business hours?” she continued.

According to the information it is at that point Kambamura realised things had gone in the wrong direction and he got hold of one of the Kadoma secretive intelligence personnel and planned with him on a $5,000 job to confiscate Chitombo’s phone as a way of destroying evidence.

All the plan failed when one assigned for the task only named T1 realised the target person is his own mother (as per Shona customs).

T1 is said to have arrived at Chitombo’s flat riding a white Toyota Hilux double cab without number plates and the people inside the car (whose number could not be determined) were sat inside the Hilux waiting outside near the flat.

“T1 then called me and said mother, there is a story, I was shocked because no one knew about that story and how it got to him. That is when he said he was sent for me. He told me this in front of two men, a male called Nyasha, and another male called Shava,” Ndekah narrated her ordeal.

“Cde (Washington) Shava tried to call Polite and asked him why he was doing all this.”

It is at that point that Hon. Kambumura blocked the one Shava on his phone. According to the information Shava knows Kambumura because he once assisted him pay damages for another impregnated lady before.

“Shava and Polite know each other. He (Shava) once assisted him (Kambumura) to pay pregnancy reparations for another woman (kuripa nhumbu yemumwe mukadzi),” she explained.
