Former Warriors and Dynamos coach Kalisto Pasuwa got the better of Benni McCarthy with his Nyasa Big Bullets beating AmaZulu 1-0 in the CAF Champions League preliminary round first leg match in South Africa on Friday.
Former Orlando Pirates striker Chiukepo Musowoya scored the goal in the first half to give Pasuwa’s side a crucial away goal.
McCarthy had earlier declared that AmaZulu were going to perform better than Kaizer Chiefs who reached the final in the last edition.
“We play the way we do and then come away on the losing side which is sad.
“You make your own luck when you get chances. It’s only a single, there is no luck.
“On our side there was a lot of incompetence in front of goal,” said McCarthy.
