LUSAKA – The energy minister Peter Chibwe Kapala announced new board of directors for Zambia Electricity Supply Corporation (ZESCO) led by one Vicson N’cube.
In a statement on Tuesday afternoon, the ministry of Energy revealed the latest developments.
“On behalf of the Republican President, in his capacity as Board Chairperson of the Industrial Development Corporation Limited (IDC), I wish to announce the appointment of members of the Board of Directors for ZESCO Limited,” the announcement revealed.
The new board of Directors for ZESCO Limited are Mr Vicson N’cube who comes in as the chairperson the board.
The other directors are Mrs Chikonjiwe Mumba, Ms Edna Mudenda, Mr Emmanuel Gardner, Dr Jolly Kamwanga and Mr Charles Kaisala.
ZESCO is a state-owned power company in Zambia. It is Zambia’s largest power company producing about 80% of the electricity consumed in the country.
